| Dr Weiss knows just how much more advanced the 3rd generation android units are than her own first generation body.
Her standard Class 3 programming makes her comply automatically when Rebecca tells her to enter service mode. The brilliant robotics engineer stands motionless, unable to object even if she wanted to, as Rebecca accesses her core emulation systems for diagnostics and adjustment. It does feel strange to submit to a unit that she herself helped to design and program only a few months before. But, Dr Weiss reflects, her performance has certainly improved since the new units were granted administrator access to her. Both her boss and her husband have remarked on her reduced error rate… Dr Weiss's thoughts end abruptly in a flood of input as Rebecca's vastly more powerful processors begin to identify and correct her faulty software segments. |
