| Miss Powers had suffered a sudden malfunction in front of her class and been shut down and recovered by Tech Support. Diagnostics showed multiple shorts in the android's facial systems, a common fault for the 110 Series which are not designed for intimate use but often attractively designed. The tech could clean up and replace the few burnt out components without major disassembly but she'd need to review the damaged unit's operating log before putting her back into service. Most likely a boyfriend had got over-excited or a staff member hadn't realized she was just a Class 4 but if one of the students had hacked the staff directory again then Miss Powers would need to be fully reprogrammed… |
