Her robotic screen curves to deliver a wider view. Far more coverage than a human ever could. It was largely just a leftover from when this room was an office. She was only taken over recently after all. And an argument was made that it could be useful to have a desktop in case she ever needed to connect to it. But it was clear that was just an excuse to not have to move it. It's not like the robot would care anyway. Besides that, there was little else in the grey, deselite little room. And that was fine by her. Colourful decorations or recreational activities couldn't entertain her. She couldn't really be entertained at all. Instead her programming is singularly fixated on her current assignment and providing the best service possible. And at times like this where nothing is required of her, she instead fills her day with more passive forms of upkeep. Spending extra time in the charging pod using her computer to review previous recordings of battles or the like in order to mark potential improvements. Running every type of diagnostic she can. The more complicated the computer and the machinery, the more likely something small will fail. And a small failure can become significant in a matter of no time.

Right now she instead is sitting on the floor, with her arm piece disconnected from her body. The Shadaloo scientists take great care to maintain upkeep, and she even has an appointment after her next mission to do her weekly check-up. But she has made a habit of properly stress testing her parts to prevent any stiffness. On the corner of her screen, a new notification popped up. Alerting her that she is required in the briefing room within 5 minutes to receive her next mission. She uses her maps of the Shadaloo base to find the optimal route towards her target location in a timely manner. Accounting for the social courtesies that have been programmed into her. Without them, she would be full charge sprinting through the halls whenever she needs to go somewhere. There are numerous considerations the scientists had to implement into Chun-Li. The only downside to absolute devotion towards the given objective is that it doesn't allow for much wiggle room in cases such as this. Her programming is by no means simplistic. But certain black and white decisions were made with her where they might usually not be, to ensure her effectiveness.

She walks down the halls, passing many personnel. Scientists, Soldiers, grunt workers. All sorts meet her in the hall. Giving her looks. A lot of them are still not exactly used to seeing Chun-Li within their halls. She previously worked for Interpol, one of Shadaloos primary enemies and biggest pursuers. But they had taken over and reprogrammed her into being a Shadaloo soldier. But many of them were still nervous, whether for good reason or just baseless accusations. She struts by, and she is aware of the glances she gets. Her programming limits certain routes of thinking. Not allowing her to second guess orders, consider her previous life, all sorts of things. She is not brainless, but she is a complete puppet for Shadaloo. So she pays no mind to the lingering glances she receives. She arrives at the briefing room. She is 3 minutes and 26 seconds early according to her internal clock. The margin of error is about 15 seconds given that different clocks can be on slightly different timers if set internally rather than externally. She constantly runs through all of these kinds of considerations towards her orders to be exact and perfect in their executions. Once the rest of the men arrive, she is informed of her next mission. A fairly simple espionage mission in order to find and destroy some information that may have leaked from Shadaloo. She is told in nauseating detail every bit of information they have on the case. Each word is carefully considered, recorded and adapted in Chun-Li’s mind. The meeting ends and she hops aboard her motorcycle and leaves.

The squeal of her tires can be heard at headquarters as she arrives by the end of the day. She has successfully completed the mission given to her, and in a considerably faster time frame then what was originally imagined. The intended mission time was 2-4 days. However Chun-Li’s computer was able to determine who the leaker was due to some evidence she had gained before even receiving the orders. Evidence that was not reported due to it seeming innocuous at the time. She is praised for her swift and effective work. However, in the ensuing fight, some of her red costume is damaged. She is instructed to visit the department which is in charge of such things. On her way there, she recognises the same looks she is all too familiar with. She enters the room confidently. If a lack of social awareness or shame can be considered confident. “Ah, yes we were expecting you. Show us the extent of the damage” The man closest to her says. Chun-li nods affirmatively and starts rattling off information on the exact tears and holes, due to what sort of weaponry, and any other relevant details. “Hm… this will take at least a day or two to deal with” He says, as he makes his way over to a storage locker. “Wear this until we have fixed it.” He instructs her. The outfit given to her is one that resembles her old Interpol one. But she notices a marked difference in the material, allowing for improved defensive capabilities. She nods and begins to stirp out of the outfit. Slowly peeling off the latex like material, her black spiked cuffs. Her underwear that had been designed in accordance to her lead supervisor's sexual interests. Then she starts to put on the other outfit. Chun-li’s thermal sensors see the almost dangerous temperatures some of the fresher cups are at. She had piped up about it at previous meetings, annoying the men around her. She was ordered not to alert them about their coffee anymore. She did as they told her to. Finally they all sit down and begin the meeting.

Firstly they go through some more mundane administrative stuff. Chun-Li absorbs the information. Making complicated and in depth meeting notes for everyone to reference later the whole way through. “Alright, that will do for now. Chun-Li, send that information to the local data centres as usual.” The man at the head of the table says, sifting through the few papers he brought. “Affirmative sir.” She replies. “Oh and by the way, you are wanted in training room C. There are a couple scientists there. Can’t tell if they wanted to actually do testing or just wanted some fun with you. Not like you have the brain to care.” He says as he walks out of the room. Chun-Li hears his comment but as it contains no vital info, it is simply placed in her memory bank and not given any scrutiny. He was absolutely right.

She makes her way to the training room, and finds a small group of scientists discussing something. Due to her robotically improved hearing, she can hear each and every detail, but it contains no relevant information. One of them notices she arrives and waves her over. She examines the room as she walks towards them. It is a standard training room with little to no equipment out. The only stand out item is a large pole attached from the floor to the ceiling. She steps to one of the men facing her. “Ah, hello there Chun-li. Some of the workers here have been a little uncomfortable with you. They still aren't used to you being on our side.” He informs her. “I am sorry sir. What are my orders to rectify this?” Chun-Li replies. “Well that's a good question, it's actually why we brought you here. We have most of the active scientists assigned to you here that still feel a little awkward. Do you recognise them?” He asks. “Yes. Dr. Howell co manages my spatial awareness AI, Dr. Jones developed the schematics for my right leg, Dr. Michael-” She begins to drone on, before being cut off. “Yes, yes, yes, we understand, you don’t need to list them all out.” He says, slightly frustrated. “In order to make everyone more comfortable with you, we thought it would be a good idea if you did some favours for us~” He says with a slight grin. “A dance!” One of the more nervous scientists behind him pipe up. “Yes, a dance. Your instructions are to do an exotic dance for us right now.” He says. “Understood,” Chun-Li says.

She backs up a little bit to give them some space. The scientists scramble out a little bit so each of them can get a clear view of her.
