Liar's Gambit/10 a-gbc
You decide to keep up the liar’s act. You tell him that you really don’t know anything of any rogue Fox unit. You were just on your way to deliver parts when his men came charging in and started ‘harassing’ you for the whereabouts of a bot you had no knowledge of!
“Hhrrmm… And what if we take a look in the back there, then?” The big man points his gun towards the backroom where you came from.
Fuck!. You tell him that you keep the non–functional, and not yet formatted dolls in there… You ‘do’ have a renamon in there, but it’s been sitting there the whole day…
Big man looks at you sternly, before partially turning to his lackey and nicks his head towards the back.
You stay right where you are, not following the other merc with your sight, as they quickly walk past you and into the storeroom. There goes a couple of minutes with you staring frightened at the Giant man, who in turn stares heavily upon you. Meanwhile, you heard the other man make a ruckus in the back, followed by the sound of Renamon coming to life for a short time, before their voice drones out again, following the approaching footsteps of the merc.
“...For the most part… seems the robo-terkey is telling the truth…” The merc reports, while giving the back of your skull the stinky eye…
“Hhhmmmm…” ‘Click’ “Continue the search... Flip the town on it's head til you find 'em…” The giant rumbles, holstering his weapon before rising back to his full height.
“What about this bitch?”
“Leave them… The suits up top won’t be happy if we crush more of their bottom line for no ‘good’ reason… However small they may be” He says, before leaving the shop, followed by his underling…
