As soon as you’re in the hallway, you turn from the security droid and start walking the other direction.
The droid doesn’t seem to notice until you’ve rounded a corner – behind you, you can hear her voice announce, “Alert intruderrrr-“ a series of discordant notes blare from her direction, followed by stammered nonsense going faster and faster until you hear a metallic crash.
After a moment of silence, you decide to continue.
