| Jessica's support line calls usually went the same way.
She'd be instructed to connect up for fault diagnostics and maybe have a patch or two installed but never get booked in for physical maintenance. She badly needed new motor controller and an upgrade to her refurbished Class 3 android body's central compiler to function reliably. The work was covered under warranty but she always got the run-around. When she got frustrated the tech at the other end would just remotely restart her personality to baseline settings and she'd end the call satisfied… for now. |
