"What do you think?"

"Let me see. Ooh, nice. Which one is this for?"

"Bridget."

"Yeah, I could see that... Skinny, isn't she?"

"That's the point. Anna's the one with the tits and hips; Bridget's supposed to be slender and athletic."

"Well, you've got that. Not so much my taste, but..."

"Yeah, I know, you like the tits and hips. Hey, Chris, come have a look."

"Yeah? Wow. I like!"

"You see? Some people appreciate the work of an artist."

"Yeah, June, you're our official Anatomical Artist."

"There's something about the face, though... this is supposed to be the Bridget body, right?"

"Mm-hmm. There's going to be lots of different face variants, though. Here, I'll switch to the other one I designed."

"Hey, I like that one better."

"Mind if I ask why?"

"Jawline. This one has a nice straight jawline. The other one, the jaw just disappears up into the cheek."

"Yep. That's what I was going for. Anyway, the body shape's the same for all the Bridgets, but we're designing eight different faceplates, six hairpieces, two hand variations--"

"Hand variations? Do people really care what their android's hands look like?"

"Absolutely! Don't you notice a girl's hands? Whether they look firm and strong, or slender and sensitive?"

"I guess so. I didn't think it was important enough to design for, though."

"Research says it is. So Bridget has two types."

"Then she'll have different breast options too?"

"Actually, no. I thought we were going to, but about a month ago they changed the plan - I'm not sure why, actually. So all the Bridgets get these breasts."

"Well, I don't think anyone will mind those. They're a bit small, I like the shape."

"Well, thanks. What about the legs? Are they too skinny?"

"Ain't no such thing!"

"No, I don't think so... can you rotate the image and bend the knee a little? No, as long as they're shaped like that you're fine. It's when they've got no curve in the thigh that they start looking like toothpicks. You've got beautiful legs on that screen, June."

"Well then, this is the design I'll be presenting to Larry tomorrow. I'm done for today. Anybody up for a few beers?"
