Mary 25 was a fictional fembot featured in the eponymous 1998 episode of The Outer Limits. She is portrayed by Sofia Shinas. The successor to the failed Valerie 23 project, this time she was designed by the Innobotics corporation as a nanny rather than an adult companion. More benevolent than her predecessor, Mary once again resorts to murder; this time justified. She kills the father of the children in her care to protect the mother. In a twist ending, it is revealed that the woman she protected is also a gynoid, a replica of the original wife who had already been killed by her violent husband.
