“Welcome to LifeLike Incorporated!”, the PA system yelled out in a feminine yet robotic voice as the day began. Anna Taylor walked through the glass doors into the LifeLike Incorporated Chicago HQ, the place of birth for this now international company. Anna has been working for LifeLike for around three years now, it used to be an absolute dream for her but now it has gotten mundane. She doesn’t even bat an eye at the gorgeous yet sleek statue in the middle of the plaza, it was made to resemble the first ever LifeLike android, Eve. She was an expert in robotics, she saw all the little details that hinted at their true nature. They also always had a cheery disposition, always eager to work yet their jobs were just menial labor. The funniest part of it all to Anna was how they acted, to get herself in a better mood, she decided to play a prank on these clueless machines.

“Hey…David?” She asked, she recognized that one of the units was the ‘David’ model but was unsure if they kept the unit’s base designation. “Hello!” he said in a joyous voice, “How are you?”

Anna smiled as she approached David. He had short hair and his eyes were the same vibrant brown as his hair, when she got close she also noticed that small, almost invisible seams lined out his joints. To the normal human eye, it would be impossible to notice but Anna was a trained LifeLike technician on her way to a promotion!

“Ma’am, why are you just staring at me?” David asked with slight concern, not for himself but for Anna.

“Huh? Oh sorry, I was just thinking hehehe,” Anna giggled. “So, David…what do you do outside of work?”

David froze for a moment, his eyes fluttered making slight clicking noises as they opened and closed.

“Oh, it is nothing special!” David said.

“Come on~ You’ve got no hobbies?” Anna replied smugly and a bit promiscuously.

“Ummm, none that I-I can think of.” David stuttered a little, was he nervous or already breaking?

Anna grinned maliciously as she began to talk quickly, “Where do you live? Have any family nearby? Do you have any pets? Any friends? Are you single?”

David just stared at Anna for a while, his mouth agape. He stopped blinking and just stared ahead. His body was motionless but his internals were not. The sounds of buzzing electronics and whirring fans were loud from within him. Anna let out a hardy laugh as she saw David struggle. It was just so fun and oddly…arousing. They all reached the tenth floor and walked out at once, they then each went to the assembly line. There they surveyed the bots being made, making sure everything was running smoothly. Anna was watching the creation of the new ‘Sasha’ units. She was assigned to the final stages of the creation process. Androids with plastic chassis’ flew through being carried by mechanical arms. They had a human form but they were as white as snow, seams were all over their body indicating where each panel was welded together, and the back of their heads had a clear dome where the scalp would be, showing the glowing components blinking. They were online just in a limited mode, they had to be online for programming, which they just got finished. Anna giggled as she watched the units go by, she was observing the cosmetic additions. Sheets of synthetic skin were carried by little pinchers that were then applied to the android, they were wrapped around the entire android, making it look a bit uncanny. They were a human mass of skin with no features, but that was quickly resolved. The automatic assembly line began to pull and squish the skin. An arm punched into the bots’ bellies to create a belly button, others pulled to create realistic lines in the palms.

Then there was the cutting. They cut out a hole in the crotch for the sexual module, two holes for where the nipples will go, a hole for the mouth, holes for the eyes, holes for the nose, and holes for the ears. It cut quickly and formed the body. Finally, the arms were installed along with all the final components into the units. “Hey! Can you take Anna’s shift? She…passed out?”

The ‘Penny’ unit nodded and headed over to the station Anna once held. They all looked the same, cute, petite ginger girls that had the same proportions and faces. Kevin had no idea how even with their more advanced AIs, they still were not suspicious of them all looking the same. It was ridiculous. LifeLike is planning to expand on the AI of their units, making them even more human. Kevin would know, he was in upper management and often gave presentations for the higher-ups, which would then be spread up the chain to the board of directors. However, this would present a problem, they would be smart enough to be confused by their copies.

He began to ascend to the fifteenth floor in one of the elevators. No one else was wandering about, all the robotic employees had already got to work so there was no need for any ambient wandering.

Once he got to the fifteenth floor, he found himself a workbench to examine the broken bot. He laid the bot on the table and undressed it. It had an ample-sized chest that seemed to be just the perfect, natural size and her crotch was hairless and smooth. He then took out a scalpel and began to make an incision in Anna’s belly. He always hated checking for issues on bots, the skin did not leave any room for panels or ports. Kevin knew the cosmetic department was trying to find a better solution for the synthetic skin, one that would be both realistic and be able to have panels without the obvious seamlines of their competitor LustTech but it was still frustrating having to deal with this inconvenient design. He opened the unit’s belly revealing the array of circuits that made it up. It was all quiet, the cooling fan was motionless, none of the lights were on, all the motors made no whirr. Kevin took out his laptop and plugged it into Anna’s belly, he began to review its last report. At 7:59 AM, Unit ‘Penny” SX772-0 ‘Anna’ activated in its apartment. At 9:00 AM, it arrived at work. At 9:02 AM, it decided to make another unit malfunction, increasing its own arousal. At 9:10 AM, the unit went to work. He searched its sexual system, trying to find a fix. A weird beep came from Anna when he began applying changes to the system. He tilted his head, that should not have happened.
