Mika assured me that the Hive do not attack unless threaten or you cross their border | |||
uninvited. Patrol will see us unarmed, land and come out to investigate. Once we reached the | |||
border it didn't take long to get their attention. Three Hive Patrol Mecha, started | |||
approaching our direction. Mika said they always patrol in threes. The are all wireless/ | |||
radio linked together, but have limited range. Their Mecha's act as relay stations. We | |||
quickly landed and settled the Mecha back behind some trees. I ordered Mika to stay with the | |||
Mecha, in case their was trouble. She was conflicted, she wanted to protect me and be there | |||
personally when I met the Hive Gynoid, but she realized that piloting the Mecha was the best way to do that. | |||
The three Hive Mecha crested the far hill. Two of them hung back and the third flew towards me. | |||
The Sliver metal Mecha, landed softly at the border and the hatch opened up... | |||
