:I think that's a great idea, and I've added it to the CSS page. I'll let the people on FC know that they can use it in their stories when they add them to FW too. Thanks. :D [[User:Robotman|Robotman]] 13:15, 28 February 2014 (PST) |

- You're welcome! Good to see you contributing so much. ;) Robotman 17:08, 8 March 2008 (PST)
FYOP
In regard to follow your own plot, it's rather hard to find out what was the last number used for the unwritten links, so I thought ethier we could put unwritten in all the unwritten link so they'll appear on the list, or put a last used number on the first page. (this lastone has some problems because if one person forgets it messes the whole thing up.) what do you think? The Liar 08:14, 9 March 2008 (PDT)
- I personally find it much easier to use the "Show preview" button before hitting "Save page". That way, if the link is red, I know the page number hasn't yet been used. If it's blue, then it has. Another way you could do it is to look at http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?title=Special:Newpages (maybe keep it open in a separate tab) and refresh it when you need to check. Or if you remember to add the category to your new pages, you can check http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?title=Category:Follow_your_own_plot (refreshing as needed) to see what page number comes next. I think creating pages marked as empty would be a bad idea, because then you wouldn't be able to use those 3 techniques. Robotman 09:57, 9 March 2008 (PDT)
- Um, those methods don't work. Even if a number has been used in a option it will still apear red if no one has put anything in it, nor will they appear on any of the lists. Example: FYOP/The Lab Scene/0003 or seen as Very artificial both in appearance and bahaviour?. The Liar 10:30, 9 March 2008 (PDT)
- Oh, sorry... I thought you were asking something slightly different. I haven't really thought about that one.... you could try whatever you think would work best. Let me know how it works out... and if it's a good system, you can include it in the FYOP instructions. Robotman 10:32, 9 March 2008 (PDT)
- It occurs to me that adding options is unnecessary unless you intend on using them, as people can just put whatever option they want when they plan on continuing the story, there by sidestepping the problem. The Liar 16:36, 9 March 2008 (PDT)
- That's sort of my line of thinking. This kind of thing is rather tricky to keep sorted out, isn't it? Robotman 16:53, 9 March 2008 (PDT)
Unsorted Pics
I've uploaded the rest of the pics that have been sitting on my hard drive for a while - now saved for posterity. A lot of them look like Xeran's work, but I'm not sure, so I'll leave it to you or someone else to sort. I don't want to misplace any credit! Drrotwang 21:16, 8 April 2008 (PDT)
Re: Hello
I plan on having fun here - I've already had a lot of fun just reading the stories and looking at the gallery. :)
I just wanted to say I looked at the Recent Changes log, and I really appreciate the sheer amount of work you do for this wiki, and Fembot Central in general. Thank you for your dedication. Borias 13:52, 27 October 2008 (PDT)

Armageddon Pics
What movie are these from? I have searched IMDB for "Armageddon" but i am not finding anything related to these pics.Velda2222 20:12, 19 February 2009 (PST)
Thank You
I strongly wish to post my work here, but you know my pics are not allowed on FC and here. But the law here stated that is if the photo is not showing prtvate parts, it's no problem. And overage student is common in my place, when I was at class 7, I had a classmate which was 15 years old. When in class 11, a classmate was 20. Deep Blue 02:36, 28 th April, 2010. (HKT)

Book-like formatting of stories
Hi Robotman,
As you certainly have noticed, I've pimped the formatting of my ongoing story a little bit. I like it to look like a printed book but I'm a fan of the KISS principle, too. It bugs me that I have to insert manually <p style="margin-top: 2ex; text-indent: 3em;"> on every paragraph to get a book-like formatting with hanging indent and a little more spacing between story paragraphs. This additional syntactic sugar could be removed by placing
.story p { margin-top: 2ex; text-indent: 3em; }
in the MediaWiki:Common.css page. That way anyone who likes this book-like formatting can place a <div class="story"> around the story and leave the text itself untouched. Completely optional and without side effects on non-tagged texts, though I think all the stories in the archive would profit.
