The manip in canon was seemingly done by the FRD to promote their new Girlkisser units.
The Manip was recorded within FRD's Manip Studio, it started off smoothly however at some point Girlkisser stopped responding and her AI froze before she began to malfunction.
This occured because of a sabotage attempt made by Henderson's spies. However, it only worked in Jackson's (The owner of FRD Industries) favor and he took advantage of it and the Girlkisser manip exploded in popularity, with it growing more popular than it would have had there not been a malfunction.
