Cherry 2000 is a 1987 American science fiction action-adventure film, directed by Steve De Jarnatt. Set in the year 2017 in a postapocalyptic United States, business executive Sam Treadwell's titular Cherry 2000, his gynoid, short-circuits. Irreparable and a rare model, the only way to get her back is to venture into the dangerous "Zone 7" where she was manufactured.

Cherry 2000 herself is absent for most of the film. She appears at the beginning, where she malfunctions and is brought for repairs to a gynoid dealer, then at the end when another unit is activated at the factory, where she is abandoned by Sam Treadwell as he takes off with Edith "E" Johnson, his female guide through the zone. The scene at the gynoid dealer's also involves a tour of his stock, featuring a few deactivated gynoids.
