==Background==
In the Westworld universe, Delos is a major corporation which produces many wondrous innovations, including fully realistic androids.  They also created a theme park with several different areas: Medievalworld, Romanworld, Futureworld and Westworld.  While attempting to show off their park, there was an incident in the Westworld park involving a mechanical gunslinger which malfunctioned and went haywire.  A few years later, in an attempt to show that they had improved their safety, one of the Delos doctors attempted and failed to replace the reporters sent to assess the safety of the park with android duplicates.
