Talk:Stories sorted by type

I thought we might adopt a modified version of the tagging system used over at http://mcstories.com/Tags/index.html I removed a few which were not useful, and marked those tags which are as useful for fans, as they are to help others avoid what they find unpleasant.

The best way to sort things on a wiki is by categories. Any category can be added to the bottom of any page, see the bottom of the Katy article for an example. For the purpose of grouping similar stories on a page, links to individual categories can be inserted anywhere by a url link. Also, if stories are sorted by category, then anyone reading a story here can just click on the category link (for example "Built" or "Transformation") to see more of that style. I was struck by how much more abstract the current types on the Fembotwiki page are, than the categories used on MC Stories. The wiki types so far are themes (and great length?); the MC categories are sexual content indicators. They could work together as categories, in the manner you suggest. There's room for many different categories both within the structure of the wiki and on the new Stories sorted by type page. The categories can overlap too, and even be mostly the same. All that needs to be done is for categories to be added to individual story pages and for those categories to be collected on the Stories sorted by type page. Anyone who has any idea for a new or different category should feel free to add it in such a way. Robotman 11:47, 27 December 2009 (PST)
